Our purpose is to enhance the quality of life and well-being of service members, their families, civilian employees, and veterans. MWR promotes readiness, resilience, and strong community bonds by providing a wide range of social, recreational, and support services. This is achieved by fostering and coordinating a comprehensive network of state-wide community support and services. Program management is based on prioritization, planning, and generation of resources to meet current operating needs of the MWR while providing for reinvestment in programs, opportunities, facilities, and equipment.
