IDNG MWR is pleased to partner with Treasure Valley Tartan's to bring you our 5th Annual Tartan Day Ceilidh a Celebration of Scotland - a night filled with food, music and dance! TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR for those who have Gowen Field base access!

About the event
Tartan Day is a North American celebration of Scottish heritage on 6 April. It commemorates the day that the Declaration of Arbroath (the Scottish Declaration of Independence) was signed in 1320. The American Declaration of Independence was actually modeled on the Declaration of Arbroath and quite a big proportion of the Founding Fathers were of Scottish descent.
In partnership with Treasure Valley Tartans the MWR and Rally Point Club & Events are pleased to be hosting this years Tartan Day Ceilidh which by definition is a social event at which there is Scottish or Irish folk music and singing, traditional dancing, and storytelling.
Dinner will comprise of homemade Cottage pie.
Desert will be homemade Cranachan (non-alcoholic).
Note: if the are any food allergies, we will do our best to try and accommodate your needs to the best of our abilities with what we have on hand.
In the Rally Point Club (Bar) we will have a large variety of Scotch as well as our full bar selection available for purchase.
